Basic level I

The foundations of coaching and its practice

This Foundation Level course is open to anyone interested in integrating these skills into their professional life or wishing to pursue a career in coaching. The course is primarily focused on practical experience and requires an active involvement from participants.

The course will teach you to:

  • Gain an overview of what exactly coaching is
  • Build a relationship with the client and develop listening skills
  • Ask open-ended questions
  • Identify and set real priorities
  • Help the client to overcome personal challenges and fears
  • Use coaching tools to facilitate the coaching process
  • Gain experience of the coach’s “tool kit”
  • Acquire the skills and qualities of a coach
  • Agree coaching goals between the coach and the client
  • Build a bank of coaching strategies

Course length: 4 days (Tuesday-Wednesday- Thursday - Friday)


Intermediate level II

This level is open to anyone interested in enhancing their coaching knowledge and skills or wishing to pursue the course through to certification level.

The modules are taken in sequential order

Course II A – Discovering values

  • Help the client to clarify and assimilate their values
  • Recognise and use resistance to access the client’s own resources
  • Utilise tools to clarify priorities and objectives (7-point model)
  • Set up a coaching session and establish the coaching agreement

Course II B – Discovering identity - balance

  • Explore the paradoxes of maintaining balance in our lives
  • Support the client in making choices that will help them to:
  • fulfil their deepest aspirations, in both their professional and/or personal lives.
  • discover their purpose
  • turn failure into a positive experience by learning the lessons it can teach us
  • clarify motivations that can inspire the client and spur them to action.

Course II C – Integration – know yourself both as a person and a coach

  • Practise different coaching styles, identify your own personal style
  • Manage difficult situations
  • Know yourself both as a person and a coach (MBTI analysis of your psychological profile)
  • Practise the "mirror" effect
  • Bring about real change by modifying the structure of our beliefs

Course length: 4 days per course (Tuesday-Wednesday- Thursday - Friday)
